About Us
The Energy Cooperative is a not-for-profit, member-owned utility serving more than 72,000 electric, natural gas and propane accounts across east central Ohio. Unlike traditional utilities, we do not have customers or shareholders—we have members, and everything we do is focused on serving their needs.
We provide residential, business, commercial and industrial energy services for members in Licking, Knox and Muskingum counties.
The Energy Cooperative is the trade name used by Licking Rural Electrification, Inc. and its family of companies, which operate as separate corporations:
