The Energy Cooperative's Operation Round Up Foundation is one way you can give back to your community. Members are automatically opted in when they start electric, natural gas, or propane service. We round up members' utility bills to the next whole dollar. The maximum amount a member donates to Operation Round Up is $12.00 per year (with most members donating less). The cooperative donates this money to the foundation, and funds are distributed to member communities as grants. 

As you can see below, your collection donations go a long way in supporting local schools, non-profits and community organizations. 

Non-profit organizations of all kinds apply for (and receive) funding for things that fall into the category of 'extra'. All grants are reviewed and approved by the Operation Round Up Foundation Board.
