The Energy Cooperative is taking a community-first approach as new energy projects grow in the region, ensuring that large developments provide and pay for the infrastructure they need. The projects will strengthen the Cooperative’s natural gas system, improve reliability, and support responsible growth while prioritizing local communities, landowners and members.

The Licking County Pipeline represents an estimated $160 million investment in local energy infrastructure. This project is designed to support a new data center and electric generation facility. It will also bring additional natural gas into our area, strengthening our entire system. 

During construction, we expect the project to support approximately 250 jobs, including construction workers, professional services and suppliers.
